NAUGATUCK — Barbara Jean Favale, 65, formerly of 47 May St., died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at the Beacon Brook Health Care Center after a long illness.
Barbara was born in Waterbury on March 27,1942, daughter of the late James and Concetta (Fazzino) Favale. She was retired from BAE Systems and was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her loving family.
Barbara is survived by a brother, Michael Favale and his wife, Linda, of Prospect; a niece, Beth Baldwin of Waterbury; a nephew, Michael Favale of Wolcott; grand niece, Alyssa; and grand nephews, Christian and Robert.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 16, at 10 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 338 North Main St., Union City, for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, P.O. Box 1004, Meriden 06450-1004.
