NAUGATUCK — Barbara Jean Favale, 65, formerly of 47 May St., died Thursday, May 10, 2007, at the Beacon Brook Health Care Center after a long ill­ness.
Barbara was born in Waterbury on March 27,1942, daughter of the late James and Concetta (Fazz­ino) Favale. She was retired from BAE Systems and was a communi­cant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her loving family.
Barbara is survived by a broth­er, Michael Favale and his wife, Linda, of Prospect; a niece, Beth Baldwin of Waterbury; a nephew, Michael Favale of Wolcott; grand niece, Alyssa; and grand nephews, Christian and Robert.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 16, at 10 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Fu­neral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect, to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 338 North Main St., Union City, for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial con­tributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, P.O. Box 1004, Meriden 06450-1004.
