John Frank Adams age 57 of Townsend passed away suddenly on Friday October 5, 2018.
John was an avid outdoorsman who worked 30 years for the National Park Service. He had recently started a new adventure with the Blount County Highway Department.
John was preceded in death by his parents; Clark Adams Sr. and Ressie Adams. Brothers; Harry, Floyd, and Kern Adams, and Sisters; Joyce and June Cromwell.
He is survived by Brothers; Clark Jr. and Ralph Adams, Sisters; Joan Myers, Anna Mae Connor, and Dawn Wheeler, and numerous nephews and nieces.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 9, 2018 at Miller Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel at 7:00 pm, Reverend Jeff Adams officiating. Graveside and interment will be on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday October 9, 2018 in the Magnolia Chapel, Miller Funeral Home.
