John's obituary in the Cincinnati Enquirer included:
"Railroad men from various parts of the country will be pallbearers at the funeral of John M. Beall, 59 years old, who for many years was with the Southern Railway and the Mobile & Ohio Railroad. Mr. Beall died yesterday morning at Christ Hospital after an illness of several weeks.
"At the time of his death he was General Sales Manager of the A. H. Pugh Printing Company, having left the railroad business several years ago. He was born in Salisbury, N.C. He is survived by his widow and five children: Mrs Charles D. Kinney Jr.; Burgess Beall, Hollywood Calif.; Mrs. Ralph Hess [sic], Paris, France, and Joseph R. and John Beall."
The location of John's burial is written on his death certificate but is challenging to read; we believe it reads "Crematory."
