Our precious angel baby Kellison was with us on earth for 2 hours and 51 precious minutes.
An ultrasound revealed that Kellison's heart was not forming properly (hypoplastic left heart syndrome) and that she only had a two vessel umbilical cord, amongst other issues. An amniocentesis was performed, and it was discovered she had a chromosomal abnormality, Trisomy 13.
Her sweet Mommy had the opportunity to hear her cry, feel her breath, and kiss her perfect fingers and toes. Every fiber of her Mommy's soul wanted to beg her to stay and fight... she loved Kellison so dearly, but she was able to whisper to her to go and be at peace.
Kellison's Mother, Kristen, and older brother, Kaleb, miss and love her deeply. We are all honored and blessed to have known this sweet little girl who has forever changed all of us.
