Adelino D. Branco, age 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Bristol, RI surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was the husband of Eduarda (Paiva) Branco with whom he shared 47 wonderful years of marriage.

Adelino was born July 31st, 1947 in Rabo De Peixe, São Miguel, Açores-Portugal, to the late Agostinho and Beatriz (Silva) Branco.

Besides his wife, Adelino is survived by two sons, Paul G. Branco of East Greenwich, RI, and Jeffrey A. Branco (Kristin) of Seekonk, MA, and two grandchildren, Mia and Cole. Adelino is also survived by two sisters, Beatriz Grilo (Antonio) of Ontario, Canada, Lubelia Andrade (Alfredo) of Central Falls, RI and brother, Jose Branco (Conceicao) of Montreal, Canada, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Antonio Branco and wife Julieta.

Adelino worked as a dedicated Machine Operator for 36 years for General (Carol) Cable and retired in 2010. He loved playing cards and dominos, playing the harmonica, and enjoyed watching his favorite soccer team, Benfica. Above all, Adelino enjoyed spending time with his beloved family, including his dog Bailey. He will be remembered for his warm, welcoming smile, his sense of humor, and his love for making people laugh.

His Funeral will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited.
