LOUISBURG – Bobby Brewer Allen, 82, of Centerville, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Caleb and Arrah Allen; stepmother, Lillian B. Allen; brother, Douglas Allen.
Bobby was a pastor and minister to his flock at the Justice Gospel Assembly Church.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeffrey Daves officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Private burial will be in the Allen Family Cemetery.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 61 years, Peggy G. Allen; children, Bobby W. Allen and wife; Sheila, Kenneth E. Allen and wife, Joy; Stephen B. Allen; Arahlyn A Snyder and husband, Don; Bonnie A. Sawyer and husband, Mike; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Oveida A. Price and Sheila A.
