Born in Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Tim and Verda (Williams) Stephens and the wife of the late Augustus Oliver Lindsey.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin and Tommy Lindsey, both of Smiths Grove; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Cornell and Susan Stephens, Center, and Kenneth and Blanche Stephens, Tompkinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
