Clarence Gilbert Eastman, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Salt Lake City. He was born May 27, 1949 in Evanston, Wyoming to Clarence V. and Elizabeth (Marsh) Eastman. He married Trixie Lee Skinner in 1969.

Gilbert served his country honorably during the Vietnam War in the US Army. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the NRA. He loved being outdoors, listening to music, keeping up with politics, reading, learning about history, watching movies, and most of all spending time with his family.

Gilbert is survived by his wife Trixie; sons Dallas Lane (Amber Marie) Eastman, Dustin Clain Eastman, and Dillon Wayne Eastman; daughters Fawna Lee (Richard Ian) Kuntzelman and Kolette Lyn Eastman; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brothers Russell Jay Eastman and John Marshal Eastman; sisters Twila Rose, Melba Lou, Ila Jane, and Lila Louise.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his son Kip V Eastman; great granddaughter Payson Jo Midkiff; his father and mother, and Jimmy Lee.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11 am at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyoming. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm as well as one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will follow services on Thursday at 1 pm at the Eastman Family Cemetery in Woodruff, Utah.
