She was born in Magnolia, Ky., the daughter of Milton and Elina Slaughter Abney.
Mrs. Boggs was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Springfield, Virden Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors of America and the Over Sixty Club of Springfield.
Mrs. Boggs was formerly employed by Myers Brothers.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Services were at Bisch Memorial Home.
Burial was in Virden Cemetery.
