Mrs. Fergus graduated from high school in Miami, Oklahoma and attended Northeastern Community College where she was valedictorian of her graduating class.
Mary, lovingly called MeeWee by her family, was known to all for her generosity, her service to others, her sweet spirit, the love for her Church and her God.
The Fergus family wishes to acknowledge and thank the staff of Belmont Village and Methodist Hospice House for the wonderful care given to her at the end of her journey.
The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, October 1, 2018 from 2:00 til time of service at 3:30 at Wesleyan Hills United Methodist Church, 390 South Yates Road, Memphis, TN 38120.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to her beloved church Wesleyan Hills United Methodist Church or The Church Health Center.
