Thelma M. Roudabugh, Altoona Center for Nursing Care, formerly of 2916 Broad Ave., Altoona, died late Saturday evening, May 5, 2007, at the center.

She was born in Bellefonte, daughter of the late Irvin and Rose (Mingle) Tate. She married Clair E. Roudabush May 28, 1946, in Winchester, Va. He died Oct. 7, 2006.

Surviving are four grandchildren: Meredith Jenkins in North Carolina, Teresa Gallagher and John Tiller, both in Mississippi and David Crain in Florida; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lucille Tiller-Clark; and a grandson, Gene Tiller.

She was a very astute businesswoman who owned and operated the former Crain Meats, which later became Roudabush Meats at the Altoona Farmers Market, which she operated with her husband.

Mrs. Roudabush loved music, comedy, board and card games. She was an avid reader and was a very giving person and very supportive of her family.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blair Memorial Park Chapel by the Rev. T. Talbot-Moses. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
