Lois Bradford, daughter of Elmer and Edna (Thurber) Choate was born February 28, 1933 in Bunch, Oklahoma and departed to be with our Lord on September 22, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 24 days.
Lois loved the Lord and faithfully served at the First Baptist Church in the food ministry for many years where she also helped with GA’s. She was an RN for many years. She retired as school nurse from Stilwell Public Schools after 16 years of service. Lois enjoyed being active with Adair County Retired Teachers, OHCE Ladies, and the local Friends of Library.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; Fred Addington and Dean Bradford, great grandson; Trenton “Dozer” Beaver and brother in law; Bill Cain.
She is survived by her family that includes children; Bruce Addington, Gina Garrett and husband Bill, Carolyn Addington all of Stilwell, OK, Gary Addington and wife Sandra of Tahlequah, OK, grandchildren; Kaylana Addington of Toledo, OH, Bryce Addington of Pittsburg, PA, Casey Addington of Toledo, OH, Courtney Layne Asbill and husband Terry, Becca Garrett of Stilwell, OK, Kyle Eubanks of Tulsa, OK, Brian Addington of Tahlequah, OK, Gary Addington and wife Sandy of Tahlequah, OK, great granddaughter; Sadie Lois Garrett of Stilwell, OK. Siblings; Mary Ann Cain of Stilwell, Ok, Felix Choate and wife Mary Ann of Bunch, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
