Bernadine L. Adamczak, 77, Ashwaubenon, died Monday, October 30, 2006, in the Special Care Unit at Woodside Lutheran Home. She was born October 29, 1929, to the late Felix and Mary (Milanowski) Glodowski in Portage County.

On May 29, 1952, she married Edmund Adamczak in Polonia, Wisconsin. They resided in Stevens Point until 1972, where they attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. After relocating to Green Bay, she was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Bernadine was employed by Dr. Arthur R. Cook in Stevens Point for five years as a receptionist. After raising their family, she and her husband co-owned and operated Nu-Way Laundromat in Green Bay for ten years. Bernadine and her husband enjoyed traveling in their retirement and especially enjoyed spending time with their family.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Edmund; her children, Darlene and Richard Lange, Waunakee; Mary and Tom Frederick, Crivitz; Gale and Francis Bloemers, Marco Island, Florida; Brian and Lynn Adamczak, Green Bay; Lynn Carlson, Green Bay; and Kevin and Denise Adamczak, Green Bay; 13 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 2, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where a parish wake service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Visitation will continue after 10:00 A.M. Friday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. John Becker officiating. Entombment will be at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
