Ronald Gene Archibald, age 66, of Aurora, IL passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 25, 1952. Ron served his country with honor and pride for 41 years as a member of the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.
He is survived by his loving wife; Tonda (nee Alexander) Archibald, children; Beth Archibald Hirsley, Bryan (Tara) Archibald and Brad (Devon) Billeter, grandchildren; Sam Hirsley, Aidan, Maddux and Payton Archibald, Loghan and Rory Billeter, siblings; Karin Marple, Renee (Mike) Dietz, Joanne (Ken) Schultz and Aaron (Lori) Archibald, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Gene and Dorothy (nee Jacobson) Archibald and brother Scott Archibald.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service 2:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, IL. Interment with military honors, Monday, October 1, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
