Phyllis was born in Red Lion, PA on June 6, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Carrie Irene (Leber) Dellinger.
She was a graduate of Dallastown High School, class of 1948, a Past Matron 1980-1981 of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church of Red Lion. During her career, Phyllis was a seamstress with both York and Dallastown clothing manufacturing companies. She retired as an employee of Red Lion Area High School having worked for 30 years in the food services area.
Phyllis was an avid bridge player and enjoyed puzzles, knitting, sewing, country music, and entertaining her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Richard, Phyllis is survived by four children: Drs. Richard W. Jr and Abigail Keller (Voorheesville, NY; grandchildren, Wesley, Benjamin, and Zachary, and great-grandchild, Madeline); Dr. Bradley T. and Annette Keller (Chesterfield, MO; grandchildren, Stephen and Andrew); (Beverly) Sue and Kevin Kochenour (Dallastown; grandchildren, Liza; step-grandchildren, Tiffany and Justin; and great-grandchild, Bryant); and Lori I. and Brian Overmiller (Red Lion; grandchildren, Dustin, Brock and Dena).
A viewing will be held from 10 AM - 11 AM on Friday, September 28th at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Dallastown, with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Red Lion Cemetery.
