Benjamin Todd Hickcox (Chicken man), age 56 was born to Ray DeWitt and Wilma Ellen (Ellifrits) Hickcox October 19, 1961 in Kansas City, KS.

He married Sheila Ann Tillman on May 23, 1981. They had two children Melissa Ann and Benjamin Todd Hickcox, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ray DeWitt Hickcox, his wife Shelia Ann and one brother Ray (Skip) Hickcox, Jr.

He is survived by his children Melissa Ann Arlint and Benjamin Todd Hickcox, Jr.; six grandchildren, Hope, Sabrina, Gabe, Joey, Bradley and Weston; his mother, Wilma Ellen Hickcox; six siblings, Valorie Hensley, Sherryn Postelwait, Matthew Hickcox, Michelle Stevens, William (Bill) Hickcox and Daniel Hickcox. He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. But he was more likely to be found outside fishing, hunting or at a swap meet.

He was in the National Guard for 20 plus years and loved every minute of it.

He passed away after a long battle with cancer on September 23, 2018.
