Obituary for Edith Pearl Perry: "The home of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Perry was made sad Tuesday, June 1, by the death of their little daughter, Edith Pearl. She was born June 11,1918 and was one year, eleven months and twenty days old at the time of her death. Her health had been generally good until about five days before death and the end came as a shock to the family. She was their only girl and their grief is intense. The father, mother and the three brothers sadly mourn their loss, but find comfort in the thought that the dear one is with Jesus and the angels. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 3:30 at the cemetery by Rev. J. M. Morris, assisted by Rev. C.P. McGraw. The family have the sympathy of their many friends and acquaintances."
