Victor Paul Henderson, 86, of Spicewood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 10, 2007 in Austin. He was born on April 16, 1921 in Batesville, Arkansas to William Thomas Henderson and Zeda Lee Craig Henderson. Victor served in the U.S. Army during WWII both in Europe and the Pacific. He proudly served in the Civil Service at Kelly AFB for 40 years and was a member of Bee Creek United Methodist Church.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Craig Henderson; and sister, Helen Henderson Fox. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Doris; sons, Craig Henderson and Wayne Henderson; daughter-in-law, Susan Henize; granddaughter, Valerie McClain; grandson, Jeffrey Henderson; three great-grandchildren; numerous nie- ces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Cook-Walden/ Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 13, 2007 at Bee Creek United Methodist Church, 3000 Bee Creek Road, Spicewood, Texas with Pastor David Payne officiating. Private family interment will follow the services at Fall Creek Cemetery.
