Clayton W. Waltz, age 87, of Canton, Ohio, passed away Sunday at the home following an extended illness. Born in Medina, Ohio on August 20, 1919 he was the son of the late, Roscoe and Mable Waltz. He was a veteran of World War Two serving in the U.S. Army-Airforce and was a retired employee of the Timken Co., retiring in 1982 after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Westbrook Park United Methodist Church and a member of the Christian Volunteer Sunday school class. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Waltz. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Waltz of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald Waltz of Canton and David and Pat Waltz of East Canton; his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jeff Sandy of Canton. There are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
