Daniel Griffeth, age 67, of Wilburton, OK died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Daniel was born on August 16, 1951 in Shelby, Ohio to William Richard and Ruth Rebecca (Taylor) Griffeth. He married Sandra Kirk on February 14, 1983 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was retired from the A-OK Railroad. He was an avid fisherman and a skilled card player. Throughout his life, Daniel had a passion for cars both as a mechanic and as an enthusiast.

In his early life he was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and most recently had been attending Center Point Baptist Church. All that knew Daniel describe him as a great man that was always willing to lend a hand and went out of his way to help others.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Griffeth of the home; children and spouses, Scott and Denise Griffeth of Bache, OK, Angela and Geoffrey Brown of Bartlesville, OK, Aric Griffeth of Wilburton, OK, Janell and Donald, Jr. Messner, Noel Posey of the home; fifteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Darrell Griffeth of Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Griffeth; brother, Roland Griffeth and great-grandson, Braxton Sensibaugh.
