Frederick Braun, Jr., who died last night at his home, 505 Cortland Ave., was one of the best restaurant keepers in the city. He had been associated with his father in the firm of Frederick Braun & Son, located in Warren St., near Genesse, for about 18 years.

Mr. Braun was born in this city May 24, 1879, and attended the public and high schools. He was an active member of the Syracuse Lodge No. 31, B.P.O.E. Aerie No. 58, F.O.E., Syracuse Lodge No. 625, L.O.O.M., and the Syracuse Liederkrantz.

Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice McCall Braun, and one son, M. Maynard Braun.

Funeral services from the home, Wednesday 2:30 p.m. Friends are invited. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
