Ida (Beasley) (Small) Coffman was born on April 11, 1858 in Giles County, Tennessee, the daughter of John A Beasley (1822–1899) and Sarah C (Wells) Beasley (1828–1898).
She was married 1st in 1879 to Reuben Calvin Small (1850–1893), and she was married 2nd in 1913 to James Shelton "J S" Coffman (1839–1931).
Living at #41 Watauga Apartments in Nashville, Davidson County, Ida was 87 years old and a widow when she died of a cerebral hemorrhage on August 25, 1945 at 2306 Hillsboro Road. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.
