Don Richard Burcham, 71, of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018.
He was born May 11, 1947, in Muldrow to the late Chloe Burcham and Hallie Mae Rhodes Burcham.

He was a U.S. Army medic serving during the Vietnam War. He was a supervisor at Universal Packaging. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reloading and was an OU fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Melba Barrett and Oma Faye White; and three brothers, Ed, Jim and Clarence "Vee" Burcham.

Don is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; his five children, Melinda and Darrell Phelan of Muldrow, Brandi and Jimmy Jones of Van Buren, Matt and Katrina Burcham of Fort Smith, Nikki and Jesse Williams of Van Buren and Angela Beshears of Fort Smith; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Sue Stormes of Roland; and his brother, Bill Burcham of Muldrow.

Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with military honors and burial will follow at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow.
There will be a reception following the graveside committal at Northside Baptist Church on Musset Road in Fort Smith. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be Brad Harris, Doug White, Darin Phelan, Pete Morgan, Bryson Jones and Justice Beshears.
Honorary pallbearers are Zach Hobson, Vince Overby, J.W. White, Gary Bowers, Mark Chase, Jacob Burcham and Mason Burcham.
