Dorothy Ann (Brown) Olsen, age 74, of Plymouth, died on Sept. 16, 2018 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Boston. She was the devoted wife of William Francis Olsen of Plymouth. Born in Brighton, MA on May 17, 1944, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Agnes T. (OHare) Brown. Dorothy was educated in Boston and was a graduate of Mt. St. Josephs Academy, class of 1962. She later met her husband William and they made their home in Plymouth where she took pride in raising her children. Dorothy had also worked for the Boston Edison Company; Polaroid; The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce. Dorothys faith was important to her and she taught CCD at St. Bonaventures Church for many years. Her hobbies included traveling, enjoying her pool, reading, listening to Irish music, playing Words With Friends and most importantly hosting family dinners every 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Besides leaving her husband of 48 Years, Bill, Dorothy was the loving mother of Davis E. Olsen and his wife Jennifer of Attleboro, Karen A. Regan and her husband Christopher of Norton, and Julie D. Abruzzi and her husband Eric of Plymouth. She was the cherished grandmother of Emily and Matthew Olsen; Sarah and Patrick Regan and Grace Abruzzi. She also is survived by her sisters Joan Joseph of So. Boston and Elaine Ignico of Jackson, MI. She leaves several nieces and nephews
