John's ashes are not interned at Lakeside Cemetery, Penticton as per FAG member Allan ID
48226094 or Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver as per FAG member Islandergirl ID 48322933.
Death Registration does indicate cremation at Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver. Informant daughter Mary Ann Bush.

Mrs. Effie Johnson of Calgary passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on January 1, 1996, at the age of 69 years after enduring a lengthy battle with illness.
She will livingly remembered and dearly missed by her former husband, [retracted Johnson] and daughters and son-in-law [retracted] and [retracted] and [retracted] and [retracted]. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, [retracted] and [retracted], two sisters, Mary Bush and [retracted] and two brothers, John and Danny Kerluke. Effie, lovingly raised her two daughters in Penticton, B.C. She always enjoyed being near her family and lived in the same cities as her daughters, moving to Calgary in 1990, where she was born in 1926.
A special inurnment service will be held this summer in Penticton, B.C. where Effie's fondest family memories lie and she began to live by the words "Let Go, Let God." Her everlasting love and spirit will always be with us. In lieu of flowers, the family request tributes be made to the Lung Association at 302 - 609 14th Street N.W. Calgary T2N 2A1.
