Betty Wiscomb Clark Obituary

Betty Jane Wiscomb Clark, 85, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 7, 2001, following a long illness.

She was born May 27, 1916 in Salt Lake City to A. Donald and Clara Kasteller Wiscomb. She married Glade Ford Clark on May 28, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Betty was known for her cheerfulness and love for all. She loved to sing and was a member of the American Fork Civic Chorus. Always active in the LDS church, Betty served a mission in Portland, Oregon, and was a worker at the Provo LDS Temple.

She is survived by her husband, Glade, Alpine; two sons, Richard G. (Nancy) Clark, Lehi; Brian G. (Marjorie) Clark, Casper, WY; five grandchildren, Lisa J. Clark and John R. Clark, Lehi; Caroline N. Clark, Salt Lake City; Samuel B. Clark and Mary R. Clark, Casper, WY; three brothers, William D. (Rhoda) Wiscomb, Wayne K. (Helen) Wiscomb, and Kenneth R. Wiscomb, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by two children; a daughter, Jane Clark, an infant son; her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.

The family wants to thank the staff of the Heritage Center for their kind and loving care of Betty.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Alpine North Stake Center, 1125 N. Alpine Blvd. Friends may call from Monday 6 - 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork, and also one hour prior to the services at the church.

Burial, Alpine City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, make contributions to the Heritage Care Center in American Fork.
