Billy Louis Allen, 71, of Geronimo, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Bryce Jester officiating. Burial will follow in the New Klondike Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
Billy was born October 4, 1946 in Cooper, Texas to Jessie Paul and Elizabeth (Howell) Allen. They have preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Paula Burgess and husband, William of Geronimo, Oklahoma; two sons, Billy Allen and wife, Julie of Geronimo, Oklahoma and Jamie Allen and wife, Traci of Klondike, Texas; brother, Jimmy Paul Allen of Cooper; 9 grandchildren, Melissa Mullins and husband, Shawn, Megan Reeves and husband, Daniel, Jacob Allen, Madison Allen, Billy Allen, Wyatt Allen, Eion Allen, Jacob Burgess, Maddie Burgess; and 6 great-grandchildren, Camden Allen, Natalee Frazier, Brody'e Rickert, Brystal Reeves, Aust'n Reeves and Aubrey Reeves; numerous cousins, family and friends.
Billy had served 20 years in law enforcement serving 8 years as the Delta County Sheriff.
He was a loving father and adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends telling stories of the past.
