VIRGIE MARIE REED, 90, of Big Pool, Md., went to meet her Lord on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md. Born September 5, 1928, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William T. and Betty (Cain) Householder; and the widow of Nelson C. Reed, who passed away August 29, 1994.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Patsy Woller, Joyce Murphy, and Debbie Diehl; three granddaughters, Melissa, Hope and Kathy; six great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Morgan, Megan, Felicity, Garrett and McKennon; one sister, Melvie Armstrong of Front Royal, Va.; and one brother, William Householder of Hedgesville, WW.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sydney; and a son-in-law, Eddie Diehl.
The family will receive friends at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock. Graveside services will be held at Shanktown Cemetery in Big Pool.
