Hazel Yates Aldrich, 88, of Wichita Falls passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2018 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Hazel was born on November 24, 1929 in Anson, Texas to the late Andrew and Mary Jane (Williams) Hook. Hazel enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers from around the world. She was a lifelong Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald M. Yates in 1985; and husband Daniel Aldrich in 2004.
She is survived by sons Don N. Yates and companion D’Lynn Chaney of Arlington, Darrell L. Yates and wife Connie and Dwight Yates and wife Jamie of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; sister Betty Jo Biddle of Paris; and brothers Cecil Hook of Clarington, and Denzil Hoss Hook of Amarillo.
