Michael Dorsey - With great sadness, we mourn the loss of Michael Dennis Dorsey, age 64, on September 11, 2018, from cancer. Mike Dorsey was born in Washington, DC on April 14, 1954, to the late Francis Owen and Elda Hyle Dorsey. Mike was a lifelong resident of Glen Burnie, MD, and worked in the construction industry until his health prevented it. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, gardening and spending time outdoors, and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Most recently he found joy spending weekends on the Delaware shore with his fiancée, Maggie. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dorsey was preceded in death by two brothers, Patrick "Buddy" Dorsey and Donald "Donnie" Dorsey. He is survived by his fiancée, Agnes "Maggie" Caldwell, his sister Mary Patricia "Pat" Dorsey of Queenstown, MD, and his children Kelly Dorsey (Jason Santostefano) of Manchester, CT, and Michael Dorsey of Glen Burnie, MD. He is also survived by his grandchildren Miranda, Jenna and Christopher, and his nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews. Mr. Dorsey chose to donate his body to the Anatomy Board. A funeral mass will be held for family and friends on September 29, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 7436 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
