Annie was born on November 13, 1957 in Savannah, GA, to Orval and Anna (Summers) Reckard. She was the youngest of five children. Anna traveled with her family until moving to North Dakota in 1958. In 1988, Anna moved to California to be near her sister, Ona. After Ona’s death later that same year, Annie returned to North Dakota where she spent the remainder of her years.
Annie was very close to her sister Viola and her cousin Connie. She enjoyed visiting with Viola and sending cards and letters to Connie. Annie loved to celebrate every holiday and special event! She loved the music and dancing and food that went along with the celebrations. She enjoyed picnics and playing games with her friends. BINGO was her favorite game and her giggle was infectious each time she would win. Annie had a great sense of humor and would often be heard whispering “I’m sneaky!” followed by her infectious laugh.
Annie loved Jesus and she knew Jesus loved her. Prayer was very important to her and her faith was very strong. She enjoyed attending church services at All Faith’s Chapel and she attended Park River Bible Camp.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Virginia Reckard and Ona Ebie and brother Orville Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Violet Reckard of Grafton and her cousin Connie Bowman of Smith Center, Kansas and her family along with many friends in Grafton.
Memorial services will be Monday, September 17, 2018 at 1:45 P.M. at the All Faith’s Chapel of Grafton. Friends may call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at the Edmore Cemetery, Edmore,
