She graduated from St. Joseph Elementary and High School in Lakewood, CA. She relocated to Michigan upon her marriage to Craig Masters in 1992. She received her RN nursing degree from KCC in Battle Creek and her BS degree from Western Michigan University. Barbara was a former employee of Oaklawn Hospital, Marshall.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Craig; her children, Tyler, 15, Elizabeth, 13, Marlee, 9, and Jack, 3. Also surviving are her parents, Bridget and Jack Paluska of Lakewood, CA; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Brian.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, daughter, niece and friend. She loved running, education, healthy living, and attending her children's Olivet academic and athletic events.
A celebration of Barbara's life was Tuesday, July 26th at Olivet Congregational Church, Olivet with a reception immediately following at Kirk Center at Olivet College.
Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS) Foundation, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Services are being provided by Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte.
