George B. Beavers, 73, died Saturday at Medco Nursing Home in Clarksville, Ind. He was a native of Sonora and a retired employee of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Survivors include his wife, the former Anna Kiefer; three sons, John Beavers of Fort McCoy, Wis., Gerald and Stephen Beavers; and four grandchildren. The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel at Evergreen Cemetery. Cralle-Neurath-Underwood Funeral Home, 725 E. Market St, is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Disease Foundation.
