DECKER, James R. 56, of Springfield, passed away September 6, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born July 5, 1962 in Springfield, the son of John E. and Janet L (Althouse) Decker. Mr. Decker enjoyed playing softball and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife; Charlene (Bussard) Decker, two sons; James E. Decker (Miranda Gutierrez) and August Decker (Candace Fuller) all of Springfield, grandchildren; James E. Decker Jr., Brayden Decker, John Decker, Jaxon Decker, August Decker Jr., Bradley Decker, Autumn Decker, one brother; Mike (Amy) Decker, Phoenix, Arizona and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers; John Decker, Joe Decker and Marty Decker and his parents. At Mr. Decker's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
