Wilma Houser Huffman----- MUSCATINE, Iowa - Wilma B. Houser Huffman, 88, Muscatine, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at Lutheran Homes. The Rev. Jason Crossen will officiate the services. Casket bearers are Amy Redman, John Houser Jr., Brad Marcellus, Ashley Marcellus, Mike Doyle and Tim Doyle. Honorary casket bearers are Kellie Freyermuth and Lisa Timmons. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Huffman was born Aug. 19, 1916, in Muscatine, the daughter of Jess and Maude Tucker Blake. She first married Wilfred Houser on Dec. 18, 1935. He preceded her in death in March 1972. She then married Hubert Hoffman on Nov. 4, 1979. He preceded her in death in October 1995. She was a member of St. Mary and Mathias Parish. She and husband Wilfred owned and operated Rink's Clover Farm Market. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and camping. Survivors include two sons, Bill Houser and wife Carol of Illinois City, Ill. and John Houser and wife Elaine of Rochester Hills, Mich.; six stepchildren, Frederick Huffman, Hubert James Huffman, Janet Chavis, Rodney Huffman, Holly Huffman and Teri Huffman; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one step granddaughter; a sister, Sylvia Aulf of Fruitland; two sisters-in-law, Irene Cochran and Helen Blake, both of Muscatine; and a very special friend, Juanita Bridges of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, five brothers, six sisters and one stepson.
