Private services for Glenn W. McCollister, 66, of 14 Deer River Road, are Saturday at Gass-Haney Chapel in Columbus, with Rev. Lee Hicks officiating.
Burial is in Columbus Cemetery with military graveside services.
Visitation is after 2 pm today at Gass-Haney Funeral Home in Columbus until noon Saturday.

Mr McCollister was born Oct 9, 1917, at Merna, the son of Glenn and Gladys Plymate McCollister. He attended Grand Island schools and married Pearl Sharp in 1940 in Little Rock, Ark. He lived in Grand Island and Omaha residing the last 27 years in Columbus. Mr McCollister was a retired railroad engineer and served in World War II.
Mr McCollister died Wednesday at his home.

Surviving are wife, Pearl of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs Dorothy Yanes of Columbus and Mrs Terri Hacker of Winnie, Texas; six grand children; a great grandchild; his mother, Mrs Gladys Lane of Columbus; and a sister Laura Belle
Johnson of Carson, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father.
