Ida Holbrook of Bristol passed away on December 12, 2013 after a long illness. She was born on December 28, 1921. Ida is survived by her daughter MaryAnne Holbrook of Bradenton FL and son, Michael Holbrook of Fort Myers FL. Her 5 grandchildren will miss her as will her 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Ida is also survived by her sister-in-law, Nola Achilli and many nieces and nephews. Ida is predeceased by her parents Luigi and Adelgiza (Bernini) Achilli and by her six brothers Mendes, Andrew, Silvio, Angelo, Albert and Ernest Achilli all of Bristol. Her talent with cooking and baking will be remembered by her family and friends. Ida was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Church and for many years did charitable work in hospitals, nursing homes and prisons in the area.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday (December 18, 2013) from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Church, 111 School Street, Bristol at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
