Dorothy attended Spoken Word Church and had worked for Dylan's Manufacturing, Piggly Wiggly, and the Hardin County Board of Education as a cook. She loved flowers, cooking; she was a family person and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Ronnie L. Mitchell of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Rosettie Sherron of Stantonville, Tennessee and Joyce J. Henson of Counce, Tennessee; brother, William "Shorty" Mitchell of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ronnie W. Mitchell, Latonya Durham, and Derick Mitchell; and great grandchildren, Isaiah Mitchell, Gage Durham, Maylee Mitchell, and Maycee Mitchell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Ray Mitchell; and brothers, Bruce Mitchell and Eugene Mitchell.
