Beatrice Beryl Stockdill, age, 90, of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully on Sept. 2, 2018, surrounded by those who dearly loved her. Preceded in death by husband, Robert (Bob) Stockdill; father and mother, Inest and Florence Anderson; sister, Gwendolyn Anderson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Russel & Genevieve Anderson and Jeanette Anderson.
Bea was born December 2, 1927 in Okabena, MN. She grew up in Lake Crystal and was Miss Fairmont. She moved to Trimont her senior year and was a cheerleader. Bea graduated from Mankato Commercial College.
After six years of dating, she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Gregory Stockdill, on January 12, 1952. Bea was a Realtor for 33 years, most of the time with Coldwell Banker Burnett Realty.
She enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables (150 quarts of tomatoes one summer), playing bridge, sitting on the swing at the Ridgeview on Lake Mille Lacs, and hosting family gatherings.
Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved Bob.
