William Joseph Bussells, II, of Rock Hall, MD, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at his home. He was 74.
Born on November 22, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late William Joseph Bussells and Teresa Janet Doyle. He attended Glen Burnie High School and played lead guitar with the Daybreakers, New Censation and a few other bands. Mr. Bussells also worked at Trumpy’s Marina in Annapolis for several years. He married Cynthia Dixon on July 17, 1966 and in 1981, he and his wife and children moved to Rock Hall. Mr. Bussells was a self-taught electronics expert and repair man. He enjoyed Astronomy, remote control air planes, painting, electronics and music.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jeremy Bussells of Rock Hall, and Jeffrey Bussells and wife Peggy of Chestertown; three brothers, Christopher Bussells of West Virginia, Paul Bussells of Glen Burnie, MD, and David Bussells of Glen Burnie, MD; a sister, Janet Serra of West Virginia; six grandsons, two granddaughters, one great granddaughter and many loved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Billy Bussells in 2008.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:30 am at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Rock Hall Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 577, Rock Hall, MD 21661.
