Eva Christine Mashing (also spelled Mashung, Maseching) was born on 28 January 1873 in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Jacob Masching (1837-1919) & Hannah Hubby Masching (dates unknown). She was married to Guy Wallace Stewart (1874-1939) on 23 June 1896 in Des Moines, Iowa. They had two daughters. She succumbed to stomach cancer on 21 December 1921 in Des Moines, IA at the age of 48. She was interred at Oakwood (aka Youngstown) Cemetery.
