Mrs. Rosa Belle Carpenter, 86, of Crown died Friday morning at her home.
She was born Feb. 14, 1885 in Braxton County, the daughter of Riley and Mahalia Clark Crites. She was the wife of Felix Carpenter who died June 20,1948. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church.
A son, Osel Carpenter, one daughter, Madgie Facemire and one step-son Berake Carpenter preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Degarmo Funeral Home in Rivesville. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Harry G Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Crites Mountain Cemetery in Braxton County.
