Mrs. C. Marshall died Sunday at 6 o’clock at the family home between Gonzales and Harwood. The remains were taken Tom Harwood for interment. Her death was due to consumption. Mr. Marshall is employed on the bridge force of the Southern Pacific.

Mr. E. C. Marshal desires to return his sincere and heartfelt thanks to friends and acquaintances who gave aid and assistance during the sickness and last rites of his wife. He assures them that every kindness will be held in grateful remembrance. Mrs. Marshal died at the residence of Dr. Graves, in Gonzales, Sunday morning at 5:45, March 26, 1899.
