Mom was born on December 23rd 1941, to Mr.& Mrs George Wesley Jr. and Lora Olive Test in Cincinatti Ohio, She However spent most of her life in Indianapolis Indiana.graduating from George Washington High School. It was while working at American Fletcher National Bank as a Bank Teller a Co-Worker Wilma (who later became my Aunt) posted a notice requesting Blood Donations for her Father Carl, who was in dire need of a Heart Operation. Mom didn't hesitate. Mom and Wilma became fast friends and while her twin Brother "Bill" was home on leave from the United States Army, Wilma introduced them. It was then that she met and fell in Love with and married William Andrew Wall Sr. on August 22 1964. After working for the United States Postal Service (Air Mail Facility) for 27 years, retiring in 1992 she headed for the Hills of Middle East Tennessee
Mom enjoyed Puzzles, especially Crossword and Sudoku, and television game shows such as The Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeparday were amoung her favorites.and also loved playing Cards & board games with her Children and Grandchildren especially Eucher & Canasta and her own made up version of YAHTZEE!! She was also a avid Football Fan and loved the Indianapolis Colts.
Before she took to her Bed with emphysema around 1998 She loved to go Fishing. A childhood love she shared with her beloved Father George , The last time she got a chance to get her bobber wet a Cousin Alan (hew favorite Nephew) took her in her wheelchair (which she hated) down to the boat dock and she sat there all day Sipping on a cola & eating twizzilers and though she didn't catch a thing she had the time of her life. She also enjoyed spending time spending time with her Children and Grandchildren and her friends,But her #1 love was giving Christmas Gifts to Needy Children Most of the time she gave anomously from the "ANGEL TREE" set up each year by the Post Office. We didn't have a lot of money growing up and we nevr went without, but Mom always wanted to do her part, I remember one year a little boy also named "ANDY" only wanted a Football for Christmas She just cried, and found that young man the best football she could buy.She taught us from a ver early age, it is far better to give than recieve, especially to those that don't have anything We are here to help and look out for each other Her pholosephy was Always Pay it Forwrd
In June of 2006 it was discovered she had Bone and Lung cancer and after successufully going through both Chemotherpy and radiation , the cancer had gone into remission in December of 2006 only to manifest itself again as brain cancer She entered the Hospital for the last time in Januraury 26th 2007, The last big thing we were able to do for her as a family.
