Byron Paul Yellowrobe Sr., 70, passed away on December 24, 2017 in Billings MT.

Byron was born on May 17, 1947, to Leonard and Theresa Yellowrobe, in Ft. Belknap MT. He worked many jobs on Ft. Belknap including, auto mechanic, Ft. Belknap Housing Authority, and Truck Driver.

In 1992 he went back to school and got his Associates Degree, He was very proud to be a college graduate. At his home he always seemed to be neck deep in a project in the yard for fixing one of his many cars. One of his favorite things to do was to drive down East Valley Rd. But if he wasn’t, working on a project he was spending time with his grandchildren. Byron loved his grandchildren he would light up see his grand babies walking through the door. In December of 2016 due to complication during surgery Byron had to stay in Billings until his passing.

Survived by his Children, Byron (Liberty) Yellowrobe Jr., Eleanor (Jay) Yellowrobe and Lewis Yellowrobe; Grandchildren Mason, Madison, Frances, Lindsey and Leigha; great grandchildren Irie Rose, Kai Old Coyote; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his Parents Leonard and Theresa Yellowrobe; Brothers Joseph and Gerald Maine; Sisters Rose Yellowrobe, Ruby Plain Feather, Sylvia Kucate, Erma Grey Bear and Stella Maine.

Funeral Service will be held at Ft. Belknap Community Center in Ft. Belknap MT, with the Wake on Dec 27, 2017 and Funeral Service on Dec 28, 2017. Burial to follow at Hwy 2 Pink Church Cemetery.
