Archibald worked yesterday as usual. His son, a miner, returned from his duties last night. When he retired, the father evidently was in good health.
He is survived by a widow and several grown children.
Coroner D.H. Kearns conducted an inquest over the remains. The jury returned a verdict of death from natural causes. Death is supposed to have resulted from heart failure.
The remains will be interred in Girard. [editor note: Burial was in Virden or moved to Virden?]
