W/O Daniel D. Lichty. Mary and Daniel had twelve children-six daughters and six sons. Children's names are: Jacob Lewis, Jonathan, Daniel A., Henry A., Mary A., Emma L., Fyanna K., Charles Peter, Florenda A., David Frank, Elizabeth, and Sarah R.
His wife was listed as widowed based on Kansas City,Missouri City Directories, 1889-91 and the 1900 census. Someone on FindAGrave has Daniel's death date as 1902. I have since learned that Daniel was still alive at the time of his sisters death in 1895 and his brothers death in 1898 so apparently he was either separated or divorced from Mary Ann. I have since learned that Mary was not widowed in 1900 and before. Daniel was living in Topeka either with or near their daughter Mary Ann Bradley and their son Jonathan. Daniel was in the insane asylum in 1900 and at the time of his death. This information can be verified by obituaries and cemetery records.

Mary and Daniel had a daughter Sarah that died 27 Apr 1892. She died of epilepsy and was 38 years old. She is buried at Elmwood Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson, MO.
