WELLS, Mabel Ann Age 84 of Riverside, OH passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 30, 2018. She was born December 8, 1933 in Leona Mines, Virginia to Alexander and Naomi (Jones) Bowman. Mabel married Lawrence "Carl" Wells on July 5th, 1953 in Jonesville, Virginia. Mabel loved going to church and was a longtime member of Dryden Road Pentecostal Church. She loved traveling with her husband Carl, being a Mom and a Granny to her family and was the glue that held the family together. Mabel loved to sew, quilt and cook for her family. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all. A special thank you to Mabel's caregivers over the years, your care was greatly appreciated. Mabel is survived by her five children, Catherine N. Brewer, Michael C. Wells, Sandra A. (Dave) Burger, Janice L. Wells and Jennifer L. (Karl) Sagowitz; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and other numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Carl; two brothers, David Lancaster and Bob Bowman; and a son in law, Kenny Brewer. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Dryden Road Pentecostal Church, 3201 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at the church on September 4 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to or Avalon Hospice.
