Andrew J. Goldsberry Passes Away
Andrew Jefferson Goldsberry, 77, passes away April 21 at 2 a.m. at his home here.
He was born in Cass County in 1870 and was married to Winnie Robertson in 1901. They lived on a farm west of Remington until 1937, when he retired and moved to Remington where they have since resided. In 1911 Mr. Goldsberry and his wife united with the Baprist church in Goodland; upon moving to Remington they transferred their membership to the Christian church of this community. He also was a member of the K. of P. lodge.
Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Eunice Hostetlet of Evansville, Indiana; a granddaughter, Mrs. Wanda Beard of Providence, R.I., who was reared in the Goldsberry home and also three half brothers, Arthur, William and Otto Goldsberry of Galveston, Indiana.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Howard Funeral Chapel with Mr. Aldrich, Chritian minister officiating and burial was made at Galveston, Indiana.
