"Funeral services for A.Z. McCOWAN, of 803 Wall Street, Marshall, will be helda t 2 p.m. Thursday in chapel of Rambo Funeral Home with Rev. U. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Bluff Cemetery. Mr. McCowwan died after a brief illness on Saturday. Born April 15, 1916 in Marshall, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles McCowan. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. McCowan was an employee of Marshall Car Wheel and Foundry. Survivors include four brothers: Arthur McCowan, of Dallas, Robert McCowan, Woodrow McCowan and Charley McCowan, all of Marshall; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Morris, of Chicago, Illinois; one aunt, Mrs. Julet Wilson, of Odessa, Louisiana; and a number of other relatives."
